The HEDC Development Committee, led by the dynamic group of Marcus Mahlen, Leap Chear, Tina Heeren, and Bryce Healy, hosted an engaging meeting in March that drew a diverse array of attendees. Representatives from the City of Harrisburg, officials from Sioux Falls, and influential development companies were present, all eager to explore the promising future of growth and development in Harrisburg.

These key community figures gathered to absorb the inspiring "grow smart" message that resonated throughout the meeting. The newly appointed City Administrator, Amanda Mack, alongside Deputy Administrator Heath VonEye, shared their vision for steering the city toward a promising trajectory. The excitement surrounding this new leadership team aims to establish a positive tone for development initiatives and instill a sense of optimism among developers regarding Harrisburg's future.
